Dr. Steven McMahan, MD
Board Certified in Family Practice

Dr. Steven McMahan, board certified in Family Practice and a native of Crossett, AR, completed his undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University in 1992. He then completed medical school at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock in 1996 before completing his residency in Family Practice in 1999. Dr. McMahan was board certified in Family Practice in 1999. Dr. McMahan has been practicing in family medicine since 1999 in West Monroe and has special clinical interests in hormone replacement for men and women, obesity management (including being a LapBand certified aftercare specialist), preventative health maintenance and general adult medicine.

Dr. Mark Dollar, MD
Board Certified in Family Practice

Dr. Mark F. Dollar,a board certified Family Practice physician, is a native of Monroe, LA and a graduate of West Monroe High School. He graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in 1990 and from Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport in 1994. Dr. Dollar completed his Family Practice Residency at Louisiana State University in 1997. Since that time Dr. Dollar has been practicing in West Monroe where he lives with his wife and two children. Dr. Dollar’s clinical interests include preventative health maintenance, hypertension, and diabetes.

Dr. Byron Henry, MD
Board Certified in Family Practice

Dr. Byron Henry is a Winnsboro native and proud alumnus of Louisiana Tech University, where he graduated with a degree in Biology and Chemistry 2002. From there, he attended medical school at LSU in Shreveport, and successfully pursued a residency in Family Medicine at The University of Texas Health Center, Tyler, and during which married his now wife, Amy, a West Monroe native. They moved back home after their first of 3 beautiful daughters was born, and have called Monroe home since. Board certified diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine since 2010, he currently sees patients from 4 months of age throughout all of life’s stages. His special focus is preventative health, children’s health, Geriatrics, and minor procedures, but enjoys the ability to help people of every age with a whole person approach to all disease types, immediate and chronic, mild and debilitating.

Dr. Erin Robinson Breard, MD
Board Certified in Family Practice

Dr. Erin Robinson Breard grew up in Monroe and is a graduate of Neville High School. She attended Baylor University for her undergraduate education before completing medical school at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. She is board certified in Family Medicine, having completed residency training at LSU-HSC Shreveport. She sees patients of all ages, including newborns. Her areas of clinical interest include women's health/Pap smears/hormone replacement therapy, skin procedures, pediatrics, and chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

Carrie Genusa, FNP-C

Carrie Genusa is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Academy Nurse Practitioners Credentialing Center. She graduated from Northeast Louisiana University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1991. After working for many years as an RN in the St. Francis Emergency Room, Carrie decided to further her education. She attended Northwestern in Shreveport and completed her Masters of Science of Nursing at Grambling State University in 2001. Carrie has worked at West Monroe Family Clinic since 2006, treating patients from early childhood and continuing throughout the aging process. Her scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention and diagnosis, and management of common and complex health care problems.

Elizabeth S Barron, ACNP

Elizabeth S Barron, ACNP graduated from LA TECH University in 1992 with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She worked at Glenwood Medical Center, West Monroe, LA as a RN on the Oncology Unit, Medical/Telemetry Unit, and ICU/CCU Units. In 1996 she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Ark. Her Masters of Nursing Science was completed at UAMS in Little Rock Ark in 1999. She is a Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Her clinical experience has included bone marrow transplant, renal, pulmonary, and cardiology services. After returning to Louisiana she has worked as a practitioner in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Women's Health, and Primary Care.

Elizabeth provides care for adult patients with acute and chronic health conditions. Her special interest include preventative health care maintenance, and hormone replacement therapy for men and women.

She is originally from Farmerville, LA and now resides in West Monroe LA with her husband Don Hudson.

Kim Hawkins, FNP

Kimberly graduated with a BSN from ULM in 1994. She worked as an RN in areas such as telemetry and ER for 10 years before earning her MSN as a Nurse Practitioner from Grambling University in 2005. As a NP she has worked in urgent care, rural health, family health, and a short time in the health insurance industry. Her passion is family care and in 2014 she began practice with West Monroe Family Clinic at the Drew location. Kimberly lives with her husband and teenage son, has two adult children in college, and helps with/lives close to her elderly parents. She is happy to be near her home, in her community, and providing care of ages 2 years through all stages of life.
